We will meet at the Carmel Digital Media Lab to see what they can do for photographers and other digital artists. The head of the program, Peter Konshak, will briefly do a show and tell of the facility and talk about the programs, classes, etc offered. This is also an opportunity to view the exhibit by Ryan Jeske and Rhonda Hamm that is currently on display there. (The DML is not at the library. It is on main street closer to Rangeline on the south side of the street. The address is 23 East Main Street, Carmel.) At 8 pm you are encouraged to wander Carmel streets, perhaps photographing statues, buildings, etc, There are also plenty of places to stop in if you would rather have a drink or get a bite to eat.
Note that we’ll meet 30 minutes earlier than usual.
Also, it’s the first Thursday of the month, so that means it’s time to turn in your entries for the September competition. The topic is Clouds, the format is digital, and the judge will be Robert Gough.
