At the May 2, 2013, meeting Barry Lively offered this Photoshop "recipe" for making a versatile watermark:
- Create a small file – 300 X 100
- Set foreground color to black
- Select Type Tool and set the font and size
- Type your watermark
- Copyright for Windows – Alt + 0169
- Copyright for Mac – Option + G
- Go to Add a Layer Style
- Select Stroke (1 or 2 px), set color to white
- Click OK
- Turn off the Background Layer
- With the Move Tool, move the text layer to where you want it on an image.
- Scale the text according to need.
