8/22/13: Model photography

At the August 22, 2013, meeting Photo Venture member Steve Brokaw provided a thorough and entertaining program on his specialty, model photography. Drawing on his years of experience, he made it clear that success in this kind of work, whether you're shooting fashion-style images like his, portraits or other studio images, professional practices in how you approach the shoot and work with your team -- model, makeup artist, hair stylist and any others -- are just as important as how you set your lights and f-stops.
