GHDT closes its Tarkington Season with another epic masterpiece from the talented team of Cory Gabel (Music) and Gregory Glade Hancock (Choreography, Costumes).  ANTONY AND CLEOPATRA is inspired by Shakespeare’s play of the same title, however, GHDT’s adaptation is set in Club Isis and is the story of rival performers in the nightclub, the complexities of relationships, and how choices control our fates. Antony, Cleopatra, Lamprius, Octavia, Octavian, Charmian, Iras, Enobarbus, and Eros are brought to life onstage as an eclectic cast of entertainers whose lives become intertwined in timeless tale of power and passion.  An ancient story told in a fresh and bold way for our new world.
