We will visit the Ropkey Armor Museum with its extensive collection of U.S. tactical military vehicles including tanks, self-propelled howitzers and scout cars. We will meet at 10 am. at the museum, which is located near Crawfordsville, IN just east of I-74 north of State Road 32 at 5649 East County Road 150 North.

The Ropkey Armor Museum was established in 1982 by Fred Ropkey and his son Rick.  Fred served with the US Marine Corps from 1949 to 1955.  He served as a tank platoon leader on the 105mm Sherman and early T48 Patton tanks.  The museum contains one of the finest collections of U.S. tactical military vehicles in the country.  Although Fred has passed away the museum continues to be run by family and friends.
