We'll meet and photograph at Crown Hill Cemetery, which has plenty of interesting photo opportunities. Note that we're starting early because Crown Hill closes at 8 p.m. Don't get locked in!

We'll meet in the parking lot area just north of the Crown Hill Funeral Home at 38th Street and Clarendon Road (map). After a brief intro meeting and handing maps to those that want one, we can start photographing by 6pm and have just under 2 hours. (The main gates at the funeral home close at 8pm, while the side gate on 34th street closes at 5pm.)

Scott will take the group to James Whitcomb Riley's grave memorial and to the The Gothic Chapel, where there will be plenty of photo ops, or you can go on your own if you are familiar with Crown Hill.  

Due to the field trip, the turn-in night for the September competition has been delayed until Sept. 11. The topic is "Silhouette." This is a print format competition. How to enter PVCC competitions.
