MEMBER PRESENTATION: DIGITAL MATTING AND PREPARING PRINTS FOR COMPETITION

We are back at the Indianapolis Art Center!

IAC COVID 19 Guidelines:

  • You must wear a mask while in the building. This includes every studio and all common areas.

  • Studios are open for classes or by appointment only. If you would like to schedule a time to access the studio, please email, call, or visit Guest Services.

  • All students and patrons are required to enter through the front entrance of the building (off of 67th Street) so that we can regulate and follow reduced capacity guidelines.

  • Social distancing practices are in place.

  • Directional routes and standing spaces have been clearly marked throughout the halls.

  • Shields have been installed at Guest Services and the Library Coffee Bar.

  • Restrooms are one occupancy use at a time.

  • Building is routinely sanitized.

  • Class sizes have been reduced.

  • Studios have been reorganized to provide ample distance between students.

  • Studios with shared equipment have policies in place to ensure equipment is cleaned and sanitized after each use.

  • Artwork drop-off and pick-up is by appointment only.

Join us for an in-person presentation by club members Scott Kinzie, Sandy Stawiasz and Charles Yang.

Scott and Sandy will demonstrate how to add digital matting in both Lightroom and Photoshop, as well as answer questions related to preparing images for print competitions.

Charles will talk to us about going through the journey into building a portfolio and why it is important for helping our own evolution of artistic vision and communication (story telling). He will challenge each of us to build a small portfolio that we will share at a January meeting.

We hope to provide a hybrid Zoom. Check out this week’s “Red Shoe Reminder” for the latest information (Members Only Communication)

WHILE YOU ARE HERE, GO AHEAD AND DOWNLOAD OUR WAIVER OF LIABILITY FORM (REQUIRED FOR ALL FIELD TRIPS).
