Location: Zoom
Photo project share - from the project Charles Yang has challenged us with.
"Stories are integral to human cultures and storytelling is timeless. Any story telling art form should be utterly infectious. It should infect the viewers with the feelings he or she has lived through, so that other people are infected in turn by these experiences.”
Choose a theme or subject and shoot exclusively with this theme in mind. On March 10, please share 3-5 images from this themed collection that can tell a visual story and be prepared to tell the members why you chose these images out of thousands that you shot.
Choose something that you love, something that you’re curious about, perhaps something of which you’ve made a few images and thought about all the time.
Some of Charles’ own personal project themes:
• 50 ft from where I sit
• Just one prime lens
• Small towns Indiana
• Back to Nature during COVID
• Local obscure corners and overlooked places
• Available light casual spontaneous portraits (no flash, no formal posing)
Would Love to see how some of the creative work are put together to tell a visual story:
• Vernon Jones' Flying Food & Drinks, Frozen in Time portfolio selections
• Kathy Fulner’s Colorful Abstracts from abundant old cars, etc
Our online meetings are limited to paid members, who receive a Zoom link via email each week. If you would like a temporary pass to attend a meeting, contact one of our officers.
