Meeting Location: Zoom
Douglas Dubler will be joining us on August 31 to introduce and discuss his most recent book: “Iridescence: The Art of the Iris.” This is published by the Presby Memorial Iris Gardens where the images have been captured. If you’re interested in floral, closeup or still life photography, this should be an engaging session. He will describe the project and also review the techniques he used for various images.
Dubler has had a long career in photography, studying with Ansel Adams with whom he developed a lifelong passion for printmaking – a field in which he continues to consult. He has explored a variety of aspects of photography, with a client base in fashion, and extensive work in other fields.
